Our Story
Clearbrook Landscaping and Lawncare was founded in 2007 by Ross Bouwkamp with a vision to create outdoor spaces defined by quality, craftsmanship, and lasting relationships.
After graduating from Michigan State University with a certificate in Landscape Management, Ross began the business working out of his parents’ garage with just a truck, a mower, and a strong commitment to doing things the right way. Through hard work and word-of-mouth, Clearbrook has grown from a one-man operation into a team of more than 20 professionals.
Despite that growth, the company remains rooted in the same values it was built on-personal service, attention to detail, and pride in every project.
Ross and his wife Katie are raising their five children-Ailie, Emery, Nolan, Ada, and Callum-in the same community they serve. As a family, they love spending time outdoors, caring for their small hobby farm, camping, snowmobiling, and traveling together. Those family values of hard work, integrity, and appreciation for the outdoors continue to shape everything Clearbrook does today.
